About Me
My name is Nevaeh Blackman, I was born in Oahu, Hawaii, raised in Waldorf, Maryland and now currently attend Savannah College of Art and Design. I am majoring in 3D character animation and hope to hone my skills to work at a big animation studio. I've always loved storytelling and creative writing through animated films. It wasn't until I was in middle until I realized that this passion was something I wanted to make a a career out of. I started practicing more on drawing and made hundreds of comics.
When I made it to High School I got accepted into a graphic communications program that allowed me to build more on my creativity in a professional standard. I stayed in graphic communications for 4 years of High School, but my passion lied in animation specifically. After High School ended I took a gap year to prep a portfolio before attending Savannah College of Art and Design. Now I am a 3D animation major with the goal to work at a big animation company I grew up watching. The simplest stories can make the biggest changes in life and my dream is to create animated film to add smile to faces like it did me when I was young.
